Pada hari Jumat tanggal 22 Desember 2017, Supardi, M.Si. dinyatakan lulus pada Ujian Tertutup Program Doktor di hadapan Tim Penguji Program Studi S3 Ilmu Fisika Fakultas MIPA UGM. Beliau dibimbing oleh Tim Promotor: Dr.Eng. Yusril Yusuf, S.Si., M.Eng. dan Dr. Harsojo, S.U., M.Sc dengan disertasi berjudul “Pengaruh Konsentrasi Cross-Linker terhadap Sifat-Sifat Fisis Main Chain Liquid Crystal Elastomer”.

On Friday 22 December 2017, Supardi, M.Sc. was declared to have passed the Closed Examination for the Doctoral Program in front of the Examining Team for the Doctoral Program in Physical Sciences, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UGM. He was guided by the Promoter Team: Dr.Eng. Yusril Yusuf, S.Si., M.Eng. and Dr. Harsojo, S.U., M.Sc with a dissertation entitled "The Effect of Cross-Linker Concentration on the Physical Properties of Main Chain Liquid Crystal Elastomers".

Tim UNY yang terdiri dari Garin Alkautsar Razid (FT/ PT Mekatronika), Satrio Sigit Purnomo (FT/ PT Mesin ), Fitrianto Hakim (FT/ PT Elektonika) , Futri Nadyaturrohmah (FBS/ Sastra Inggris) dan Arnum Sari Khoirunnisa (FMIPA/ Fisika) dibawah bimbingan Dr.Eng. Didik Nurhadiyanto dosen Pendidikan Teknik Mesin meraih Silver Medal dalam International Invention & Innovative Competition (InIIC) Series 2 yang di gelar di Cameron Highland, Pahang, Malaysia (18/11/2017).

How to make learning Physics fun and how to implement it in everyday life is a challenge for the younger generation, especially students. Until now, physics lessons are still a scourge for students. So we need interesting applications so that elementary, middle school, high school students, etc. can be welcomed by students and make learning fun. This was conveyed by the Chancellor of Yogyakarta State University, Prof. Dr.

Bagaimana menjadikan pembelajaran Fisika menjadi menyenangkan dan bagaimana implementasi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari merupakan tantangan bagi generasi muda terutama mahasiswa. Sampai saat ini pelajaran fisika masih menjadi momok bagi para siswa. Jadi perlu aplikasi-aplikasi yang menarik supaya siswa SD, SMP, SMA dll dapat disambut baik oleh para siswa dan menjadi pelajaran yang menyenangkan.
