The Physics Study Program holds a visiting professor inviting Prof. Suriani bint Abu Bakar from Sultan Idris Education University, UPSI Malaysia. This activity was carried out boldly from 10 November 2020 to 10 December 2020, consisting of eight meetings. Students from semesters 3, 5, and 7 attended the first seven meetings. The topics discussed by the Visiting Professor included research collaboration and materials-based research.

This Visiting Professor received a good response from students and lecturers. Student enthusiasm was very high; no less than 80 participants attended each daily activity session. At the seventh meeting, the last meeting between students and Prof. Suriani bint Abu Bakar, students wrote various responses about their feelings during the lecture sessions. Most of them wrote happy, engaging, extraordinary, and fun. It is hoped that this activity will foster cooperation and collaboration in physics and research, as was discussed in the open discussion held with the lecturers.
