The FMIPA UNY Physics Association again held a One Day Institution Visit (KISS) activity on Wednesday, August 21 2024. The KISS 2024 activity took place at the Sleman Geophysics Station and was attended by a number of students accompanied by Mrs. Dr. Febrina Siska Widyaningtyas, M.Pd as accompanying lecturer. The event began with an opening by the MC who guided the event enthusiastically.

On August 10, 2024, the Community Service Team (PkM) from the Department of Physics Education carried out an activity entitled "Empowering PKK Mothers in Sumberharjo Village through Making Homemade Laundry Soap". This activity was carried out by the Community Service Team known by Dr. Supardi, M.Si with members Dr. Mona Sari, M.Sc., Dr. Riza Ariyani, M.Sc., Dr. Kuncoro Asih Nugroho, M.Sc., Rita Prasetyowati, M.Sc., and assisted by 4 students, namely Ivathuszalma, Nihadlul Muna, Kiky, and Melisa Purbaningrum.

The event was held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, which took place in Meeting Room 3, FMIPA UNY. The seminar activity with the theme "Increasing Collaboration and Research in the Field of Physics and Physics Education Towards National Technological Independence" chaired by Dr. R. Yosi Aprian Sari, M.Si.
