  • APPLICATIVE LEARNING MAKES PHYSICS A FUN LESSON

    How to make learning Physics fun and how to implement it in everyday life is a challenge for the younger generation, especially students. Until now, physics lessons are still a scourge for students. So we need interesting applications so that elementary, middle school, high school students, etc. can be welcomed by students and make learning fun.   • FMIPA UNY ESTABLISHES COOPERATION WITH LIPI PHYSICS RESEARCH CENTER

    The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Yogyakarta State University (FMIPA UNY) signed a memorandum of understanding with the Physics Research Center of the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI), Friday 7/4/17 at FMIPA UNY. Memorandum of understanding signed by the Dean of FMIPA, Dr. Hartono and Dr. Bambang Widiyatmoko from LIPI which is about Research and Education in the Fields of Physics, Laser Applications, Optoelectronics, Geophysics and Materials Science.

  • Students from Yala Rajabhat University Thailand Transfer Credit at FMIPA UNY

    In this even semester, 6 students from the Faculty of Technology and Agriculture, Yala Rajabhat University (YRU) Thailand took part in the credit transfer program at FMIPA UNY. They are divided into 2 departments, namely 3 people study in the Physics Education Department and 3 people study in the Chemistry Education Department.

    Yogyakarta State University students consisting of Satrio Sigit Purnomo (Mechanical Engineering), Azka Fathia (Physics), and Muhammad Arbany Hafit Adhi Wijaya (Mechatronics Engineering) successfully passed to take part in the National Technology Work Competition on 23-26 October 2016 at UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau (UIN SUSKA Riau) Pekanbaru.
