The 2024 Friendship Forum (Fossil) event was held by the Physics Student Association, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Yogyakarta State University (Hima Physics FMIPA UNY) on Thursday (24/10/2024) at 12.30-14.55 WIB. FMIPA UNY Bone_Scaffold Team Wins 3 Categories in the 37th Pimnas Event at UNAIR

The Bone_Scaffold Team from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Yogyakarta State University (UNY) successfully won three award categories in the 37th National Student Scientific Week (Pimnas) held at Airlangga University (UNAIR), Surabaya, on October 14-18, 2024. The team led by Ivathuszalma (Physics) achieved brilliant achievements through their innovative work in the field of hydroxyapatite-based bone scaffold engineering.

FMIPA UNY Holds the 9th International Seminar on Science, Environment and Education (ISSEE) 2024

FMIPA UNY held The 9th International Seminar in Sciences, Environment, And Education (ISSEE) 2024 on Thursday, 19/9/24 which took place in the faculty meeting room. The seminar presented speaker Dr. Nur Hidayah binti Ahmad from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Prof. Ahmad Qoblan from United Arab Emirates University, Dr. Chatree Faikhamta from Kasetsart University, Thailand, and Prof. Ariswan, M. Si. from Yogyakarta State University. Remarks at the opening activity were delivered by Prof. Soni Nopembri, M.Pd., Ph.D. as Deputy Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs at UNY.

Laboratory and Field Studies (SLL) for Physics Students 2024

SLL (Laboratory and Field Studies) Physics 2024 is an annual activity which aims to introduce campus life to new students and accommodate the interests of new students in the Department of Physics Education through an introduction to the elements in the Department of Physics Education. SLL Physics 2024 upholds the theme "Voyage of Wonder: Discovering the Magic of Physics in Our World". This SLL activity has three series of events, namely Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3. Day 1 SLL Physics activities will be held on August 18 2024 at the UNY FMIPA Seminar Room.

Dr. Kuncoro Asih Nugroho, S.Pd., M.Pd., M.Sc. together with FMIPA UNY physics lecturer Dr. Rida Siti Nur'aini Mahmudah, S.Sc., M.Sc., Dr. Restu Widiatmono, S.Si., M.Sc., Dr. R. Yosi Aprian Sari, M.Si., and physics students Bayu Endro Priyono, Fadly Nurwahyu Hermawan, Insan Chaliq, Putri Diah Sawitri, Syahidah Ulya' Amanina carried out PkM group nuclear atom research activities in the form of training activities.

National Physics Seminar and Scientific Meeting XXXVI PSI Central Java and DIY Branch in 2024

In order to enliven the 60th Anniversary of Yogyakarta State University in 2024, the Department of Physics Education, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) UNY hosted the National Physics Seminar and Scientific Meeting XXXVI PSI Central Java and DIY Branch in 2024. The event was held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, which took place in Meeting Room 3, FMIPA UNY. The seminar activity with the theme "Increasing Collaboration and Research in the Field of Physics and Physics Education Towards National Technological Independence" chaired by Dr. R. Yosi Aprian Sari, M.Si.

FMIPA UNY HOLDS GRADUATION CEREMONY 2024

Yogyakarta, 28 June 2024 – The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Yogyakarta State University (UNY) again held a lively graduation event on 28 June 2024. This event was attended by students who were prospective graduates and female graduates who had successfully completed their studies them, and attended by Prof. Dr. Heru Kuswanto, Chair of the Physics Education Department, FMIPA UNY, who gave an inspiring speech to the graduation participants.

Students of Physics Education UNY Develop Virtual Dynamic Electricity Laboratory

Four physics education students from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Yogyakarta State University have developed a virtual dynamic electricity laboratory that can be used as a learning tool for science subjects in junior high schools. The Mother's Hope team consists of Taufiq Bayu Nur Rahmat, Cahyaningrum Solehati, Saadah Vidaroini and Salwa Talitha Zabrina with supervisor Dr Riki Perdana, M.Pd.
