The Department of Physics Education, UNY, carried out Sharing and Discussion of Collaboration Opportunities with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) on Tuesday, March 5 2024. Meanwhile, Dr Noorzana binti Khamis represented the School of Education, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, UTM. The event began with the opening, followed by the signing of the IA regarding the research collaboration between the Department of Physics Education, FMIPA UNY through the Dean of FMIPA UNY (Prof. Dr. Dadan Rosana, M.Si) and UTM, Malaysia (Dr. Noorzana Binti Khamis). Then, the discussion of collaboration opportunities was moderated by the Coordinator of the Physics Education Study Program  (Dr. Yusman Wiyatmo, M.Si). This event was also attended by the Dean and his staff, the Coordinator of Bachelor of Physics (Dr. Supardi, M.Si), and all the lecturers at the Department of Physics Education, UNY. It is hoped that this international research collaboration can improve the achievements of the Tridharma of Research, namely the quality of research and international publications from the Department of Physics Education, UNY in particular and UTM in general. One of the initial forms of this collaboration will be the implementation of Visiting Professor activities through the Enhancing Quality Education for International University Recognition (EQUITY) Project funding scheme.
