A total of 2 students from the Faculty of Science Technology and Agriculture, Yala Rajabhat University (YRU), Thailand took part in the credit transfer program at the Department of Physics Education, Faculty of Mathematics and Science, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY). The two students were welcomed at the Department of Physics Education on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, by Prof. Dr. Heru Kuswanto, M.Sc. as chairman of the Department of Physics Education, Dr. Supardi as Coordinator of Physics Study Program, Dr. Kuncoro as Coordinator of Physics Education Study Program, Dr. Mona (lecturer), Dr. Riza (lecturer), Dr. Riki, and Tsania, M.Pd. The two students are named Avatif Sohsa and Kuardenan who are entering semester 3 (second year). They will study for 1 semester at UNY, September – December 2023. The courses include Digital Systems and Digital Systems Practicum, Mechanics and Mechanics Practicum, Electrical Circuit Analysis and Electrical Circuit Analysis Practicum, and Statistical Physics. We are ready to help ensure academic success during the program at UNY.

"Students, please adjust to UNY, enjoy learning as much as possible. "Yogyakarta has many tourist attractions, please visit using the Trans Yogyakarta bus which is quite cheap," said Prof. Heru.

The two students were then invited by Dr. Supardi and Dr. Riza to see the lecture buildings and laboratories at the Department of Physics Education as well as the food court in UNY.
