Physics Education Study Program Lecturers Provide Assistance in the Preparation of Best Practices at SMAN 10 Yogyakarta

Every teacher has the most effective way (best practice) of delivering learning activities. The aim is for students to achieve the desired learning goals and competencies. These methods have their characteristics and uniqueness, adapted to the aspects of students and learning. Apart from that, teachers can also use best practices as innovative work and have an essential point in assessment for teacher promotion.

 

The Physics Education Study Program, Department of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science, UNY is also committed to assisting teachers in preparing innovative work through best practices. The learning media research group led by Dr. Pujianto, M.Pd. with the team at SMAN 10 Yogyakarta City, held this best practice mentoring activity. This mentoring activity is carried out periodically for three weeks (every Monday) from November 7, 2022, to November 21, 2022. Mentoring is done online and offline with a three-time face-to-face scheme accompanied by independent assignments.

 

This activity is one of the efforts and seriousness of the Physics Education Study Program, Department of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science, UNY, to improve teachers' quality in schools. The hope is that through this activity, teachers can compile best practice reports and disseminate them widely to become an inspiration for teachers in other areas.
