The Department of Physics Education, FMIPA UNY, has two undergraduate study programs (Undergraduate of  Physics Education and Undergraduate of Physics) and one master study program (Master of Physics Education). In December 2021, the three study programs that initially had "A "accreditation have now received excellent accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT). This brings fresh air to the academic community of the Department of Physics Education, UNY.

This ranking cannot be separated from the enthusiasm and hard work of lecturers, teaching staff, staff and students in carrying out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education obligations carried out by the academic community of the Department of Physics Education, UNY. Hopefully, Education and Teaching, Research and Development, and Community Service activities will continue to develop and broadly impact advancing the quality of institutions.
