UNY Student Wins Silver Medal in KN-MIPA in Physics KEMDIKBUD 2020

Tegar Ari Widianto, a student from the Undergraduate Physics study program at FMIPA UNY, succeeded in winning a silver medal in the 2020 National Mathematics and Natural Sciences Competition (KN-MIPA) organized by the National Achievement Center (Puspresnas) of the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture. This competition will last for two days, namely 8-9 September 2020.

Tegar, who was a campus delegate at the regional level in August 2020, initially competed with 545 other participants from various universities in Indonesia. He succeeded in becoming 50 participants who passed the National KN-MIPA selection and at the same time became the representative of LLDIKTI Region V.

Of course, this achievement cannot be separated from the support and guidance of the UNY academic community as well as supervisors from the Physics Department who helped prepare and facilitate a series of KN-MIPA 2020 activities which were carried out online.

Hopefully this achievement can be a motivation for other students, especially in science competitions. Viva UNY! (Athi' N A Rahmah)
