Guest Lecture from Prof. Dr. Edi Istiyono, M.Si in Faculty of Teaching and Education Universitas Papua

Prof. Dr. Edi Istiyono, M.Si, one of the Professors of Physics Education in the expertise of Assessment and Evaluation of Physics Education, Department of Physics Education, FMIPA UNY, gave the Guest Lecture at FKIP, University of Papua. The title of the public lecture is Diagnostic Tests as an Important Fundamental in Learning Computer-Based Tests Four-Tier Diagnostic Tests, a Solution for Today's Diagnostic Tests. The activity was held on Monday, August 28, 2023, and was opened directly by the Dean of FKIP University of Papua. This public lecture was also attended by Deputy Dean-1, namely Mr. Jan Hendriek Nunaki, S.Pd., M.Sc., lecturers and, of course, student of FKIP, Universitas Papua.
This general course is related to the Four-Tier stages, including questions, confidence in the answer, reasons for the answer and confidence in the reasons that have been widely researched to identify students' misconceptions. Computer-based test learning cannot be avoided because of the digital transformation in learning. Thus, this lecture can motivate lecturers to develop diagnostic tests to identify misconceptions and, of course, further open the insight of the student of FKIP Universitas Papua.
